Crock Pot Pork Loin

Crock pot pork loin doesn’t get much easier and the results don’t get much better! We’re talking about slow and low cooking, which produces one of the best pork loin results, ever!!!

Lately, I have been trying out some crock pot recipes since we have a baby on the way. Crock pot recipes are great because you can get them ready easily and then forget about them until they are ready! This crock pot pork loin was super easy and when paired with couscous, creates a flavorful and unforgettable meal.

 

 

Ingredients:
  • 2 to 2 1/2 pound boneless pork loin, trimmed of fat
  • 2 T olive oil
  • 3/4 c chicken broth
  • 2 1/2 T Cavender’s Greek Seasoning
  • 6 peeled garlic cloves

Preparation:

In a small bowl, combine the oil, broth, and seasoning. Cut small slits with a paring knife into the pork roast. Stick one garlic clove in each slit. Place the pork in a four quart crock pot and pour the broth mixture over the top. Cover the crock pot and cook on low for 6 hours until the pork is tender. Remove the pork from the crock pot and place into a large mixing bowl, shred with two forks or slice into thin cuts or pork. Return the shredded pork or cuts to the crock pot and toss with the liquid. Serve the meat over couscous. If you’ve made too much, barbecue shredded pork is on the menu for tomorrow.
